Madison Creek Farms

Madison Creek Farms is located just north of Nashville, Tennessee in the rolling countryside of Goodlettsville.  A third generation small family farm Madison Creek sits on 38 acres which encompasses fertile valleys, natural spring feed creek and a hundred year old stacked stone wall that runs the length of the property. Mark and Peggy Lynn Marchetti  along with their young son "Lucca"own and operate Madison Creek Farms. The farm has been in Peggy's family for three generations. The Marchetti's have been on the forefront of the local organic movement here in Tennessee. 

Madison Creek Specializes in flowers with over 75 annuals, perennials and ornamentals grown throughout that time. Most of the floral production take place on 6 acres utilizing raised bed systems to help control weeds and to prevent top soil erosion. Flowers are harvested flowers at their peak bloom to ensure a long vase life. The post harvest care of the flowers includes using clean buckets, fresh water with a floral hydrator and preservative. All flowers are graded, sorted and sleeved within the first 4 hours of harvest and delivered to the markets within 24 hours.

Madison Creek also grows a large variety of vegetables including many heirlooms and operates a CSA program for members to become part of the farm. Heirloom squash varieties include rare, gourmet varieties such as Striato de napoli zucchini from Italy that is one of the finest tasting zucchini you will ever try. Peggy and Mark also grow 15 different varieties of potatoes on the farm some dating back to the 1700's. Blue's, reds, yellows and fingerling types are harvested both as baby (new) and mature throughout the summer months. Tomatoe varieties include some of the rarest heirloom that are so delicious with there rich fresh taste and delicate thin skin. These are the varieties you won't find in any grocery store. Lettuces of all shapes colors and tastes, greens from spinach to chard to specialty micro-greens are found on the farm. They are committed (being foodie types ourselves) to growing an array of great tasting, healthy fresh  produce at Madison Creek Farms and doing it environmentally safe and low impacted globally.

 

 

Delvin Farms

Delvin Farms has been growing vegetables commercially for over 30 years. Producing quality vegetables and providing our customers with safe and nutritious food products has always been part of the philosophy. The farm is operated by Hank and Cindy Delvin along with their son Hank Jr, daughter in law Liz Delvin, daugter Amy Delvin and recent addition Ryder Delvin (15 months old). The farm is located on 85 acres of rolling hills, surrounded by the Harpeth River in College Grove, TN. All acerage on the farm has been certified for organic production. Delvin Farms markets their produce through their CSA program and farmer's markets including Franklin and the new East Nashville Market. Over 70 varieties of produce are produced on the farm throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons.
